Finally, it works! A new KOTD, swap polish and guest nails

Hey, dear readers:)

A quick post today, only to show you I'm still there;)

A friend of mine came to visit and I did her nails with another swap polish, Careline 309 (bright shimmery pinkish-white polish, though the pink isn't really visible here), which I applied in 2 coats and then stamped with konad im m36 and m36-1 and special nail polish in black. Then I added 1 coat of Poshe fast drying top coat. Pictures were taken indoors with artificial light and flash.

What do you think? It's totally simple, but she liked it a lot.

EDIT: I've changed the pic, and now it works :)

Thank you, dear readers and commenters, have a nice and polished day:*

Nail art and stamping haul (Essence and Konad)

 Hey,

I just have to share with you what I got in my last haul. Essence released their LE Be a nail artist not so long ago, and how I longed for those stamping plates that were included in the edition, but I could not get my hands on them, untill a very nice lady from Ars cosmetica forum bought some extra and offered them to the forum members. Thanks a lot timnala! I would not get them if it wasn't for you!

The other stuff I got from this trend edition are these 2 glitter mixes which include flowers, hearts, petals, drops, hearts, starts, etc. I also bought Essence nail art sealing top coat which I forgot to photograph:)

Then I also got 3 new Konad image plates. m51 is the old one, but m80 and m78 are the brand new plates.

Here's my haul, what have you bought recently??:)

Thank you, dear readers and followers, have a nice and polished day:*

Purple and holo combo KOTD - picture heavy

Hello, dear readers and followers:)

Today's post is going to be a bit more picture heavy and with less words in it, hope you don't mind;) Over yesterday's NOTD with Jade 356, for more colour accurate pics see the previous post. I used China glaze OMG, my fav holo stamping polish:) and Konad image plate m57, the leopard print. As you can see I'm in the wild mood these days;)

No top coat in the pictures, as I have the feeling it kills the holo effect a bit. The first three pics were taken indoors with flash, fourth and fifth in my ligthbox with artificial light and no flash, and the last one in the sun.

Hope you like the konadicure:) I really like it myself.

Thank you, dear followers and readers, have a nice and polished day:*

Good morning,

it's FRIDAY:) How cool is that;)

I've got another polish from my swap with lovely Tuli  for you. This time it is Jade 356, a truly gorgeous dark purple polish with pink and purple shimmer in it. I just LOVE it! Tuli, thanks:*

There are 2 coats in the pictures over 1 coat of Nailtek f.2, no problems in application. There's also one coat of INM OutTheDoors topcoat. The first pics were taken in my lightbox with artificial light. I have to say that I kind of a managed to capture the true colour, though you all know purple are real PITA to photograph. The last two photos were taken in sunlight.

What more is there to say, then I really adore this beauty:)

OPI Hong Kong Tiny Takeouts Swatches, lots and lots of pictures:)

As promised yesterday (see the post for colour description), I'm bringing you the swatches of OPI Hong Kong collection, more precisely the polishes which are in the Tiny Takeouts, generously sent to me by ZaPikoNaI, Slovenian nail polish distributor.

All polishes were applied in 2 coats, though I must say they have great coverage, perhaps one thicker coat would do. There is no top coat in the pictures, you can see that these polishes are super glossy. I also didn't have any difficulties when applying them, the pictures aren't pre-cleaned, the brush was really easy to handle although it's really small:) I was pleasantly surprized at how shiny they are. Pictures were taken in in direct sun, then in lightbox with artificial light w/- flash.

I just cannot help myself, my personal favourite is Dim sum plum:) How about yours?

Thank you, dear readers and followers, have a nice and polished day:*
