First double water marbling
As I am open to trying new things, I had to do water marbling too. For this marbling I used 3 OPI nail polishes. The shades used were: Alpine Snow, Nicole's Alert and Strawberry Margharita.
This is gorgeous! Does the temperature of the water need to be warm to do this? I have tried marbling but it always balls up on me before I can get my nail in. Would you be willing to do a photo tutorial? It would be great to know how you do this. Thank you!
Hey, this was my first attempt, but I think the water was not too warm, not even luke warm. Afterwards, I have read that it should be warm yes, but it was a bit too late:)a good tutorial on water marbling has nihrida (http://nihrida.blogspot.com/2009/08/marble-tutorial.html), check it out, I will do my own when I marble next time. thank you:)
you made me blush:)thanks. I don't know whether this was beginner's luck, or I really did this marbling well. Will see next time;) This will also be my first tutorial ever, haven't done this before. Have any guidelines to take into account??
I don't think so, I've never done a tutorial either. So it is very rude of me to ask you, I am sorry :(. You will do a brilliant job (as your picture above proves) and a lot of the nail bloggers will be extremely interested to see your tutorial! :)
Thanks, before you take out your fingers, be sure to remove all the polish that is left on the water, so that you don't ruin your design on the nail;) have to try some marbling soon:) it's really been a while since I've done it
