Rasberry kiss from BM02

Hello, dear followers and readers:)

A quick post today:) as you know I'm a bit short on time, still a lot of learning, making notes, etc. So no long words, but more pictures instead.

I got my Bundle monster image plates few days ago and I just had to try them out. I decided to go for the kiss image from BM02 and used Konad special nail polish in white to stamp with. For the base I used BarryM nail polish in Rasberry, fully swatched and reviewed HERE.

What do you think of the combination? Like it or not?

I apologize for now responding to your awards but I'm very honoured and happy to have received them, thank you, you're all too sweet:*

Thank you, dear readers and followers, have a nice and polished day:*

Swap from Down Under with Michelle

Hey, dear readers and followers:)

Having a busy weekend, as I have??

Still not much time to do things I love, as for example polishing etc. My days consist of learning, cleaning, cooking, usual household chores that need to be done, but I'm still enjoying the weekend though my BF is away and has been working form Friday till tomorrow, and I'm home alone.

Here's what I got for you today, a SWAP! YAY! After writing a post on taking up a swap, Michelle or 'chelle from Cosmetic Cupcake responded and we soon arranged a swap, which included nail polish of course:) She sent me the brands that aren't available here in Europe. So I received 3 ulta3 polishes in Sweet violet (shimmery a bit frosty violet as the name implies:), Watermelon (sweet coral cream and a colour new to me, I have to admit I haven't owned any coral polish up till now), Hot spring (rich berry cream); 2 TBN polishes in Aubergine (gorgeous eggplant purple loaded with shimmer) and in Raspberries&cream (another lovely which really looks as though you would have crushed raspberries mixed with some cream); 3 BYS polishes whereas 2 are crack polishes (in black and purple!) and one is in Raspberry sorbet (another pretty, dark shimmery brownish red colour), and last but not least my first Glitter gal polish in Fuchsia (a holographic goodnes in bottle). The package also included 1 stamping fauxnad plate and some fimo sticks which I admired on the internet but never tried them out, thanks a bunch:) I just hope the swatches are coming soon, or at least that I have enough time to polish my nails in those gorgeous colours;)

Michelle also added 1 bottle of her favourite cuticle moisturizer Essie Apricot cuticle oil (gorgeous smell and I've have already tried this one out, it really adds extra moisture to the nails) and a tube of her favourite cream Lucas's papaw treatment which I'm saving up for sea holidays:)

Thank you so much Michelle, it was really so much fun doing a swap with you and I loved every single item you sent me! Please check out her blog, she is also having a giveaway at the moment, so hurry up:)

RAOK from ThRiSzHa

Hello, dear readers and followers:)

How was your weekend?

I'm so happy because I received my very first RAOK, and it is from lovely ThRiSzHa which owns a splendid nail art and konad related blog Fab ur nails, I'm sure you all know her, but if you don't have a look at her awsome blog, you won't regret it!

ThRiSzHa sent me a package which contained a postcard with Abu Dhabi sites and a sweet note at the back. There were 3 fauxnad image plates which I did not have up till now; you know how much I love stamping, no need to repeat that, right ;) So the plates are B54,  B94 and M71, there's a Hello Kitty motive, YAY!

What's more to say than a BIG thank you to you, dear ThRiSzHa:* You're a true sweetheart and your package really made my day, especially the note at the postcard, thanks:*

That would be all for today, dear followers and readers, have a nice and polished day :*

 Good morning:)

A quick post today. There are 3 coats of Essie Rock candy which is a part of Essie holiday collection swatched and reviewed HERE. I think it really looks great for french manicure, 2 coats of it would be just fine too. For the tips I used Konad special nail polish in white and fauxnad P32. No top coat. All pics were taken in lightbox with flash.

I need YOUR help:) Winter manicure contest

My dear readers and commenters, I took part with 4 different manicures at the cosmetics forum named ARS COSMETICA.

Please help me by voting for my manicure, THANK you so much, you can give your vote HERE, the voting list is on the right side of the site. If I win, I can choose 3 polishes, and one of them is on my wish list, namely the Essence LE Happy holiday that I could not get in stores. The picture of the manicure that gets most votes wins, at the moment my manicure number unsu3 leads, so please vote for this number:) as only the picture with most votes wins. Thank you again and kisses, have a lovely holiday time:*

OPI Merry Midnight Konadicure

Today I present you my favourite polish from my latest haul, namely OPI Merry Midnight. I applied 2 coats over 1 coat of Nailtek f.2, perhaps I should have done a 3 one, but IRL it looked good until I saw these pictures:) It's such a festive polish in my opinion, but I still added a konad image from fauxnad plate P16 and used Konad special nail polish in Pastel pink, which looks white in the pics, but IRL it looked soft pink on the tips:)

Do you like today's manicure and konadicure?

Thank you dear readers and commenters, have a nice and polished day:*

Essence-Verry-berry-KOTD

I just had to do a konadicure over yesterday's NOTD, can you blame me;) I used fauxnad plate H22 and China glaze Devotion. It was quite difficult to capture the image on photographs as it reflects the flash. On to the pictures then:) All were taken indoors with artificial light and flash, I had to photograph this manicure with my new IKEA slippers, as the colours are almost a match. Do you like the combination? Do you think it's appropriate for this time of the year? Is it festive or rather not?

Thank you dear readers and commenters, have a nice and polished day:*

Festive red&silver KOTD

Over the weekend I did another manicure to a friend of mine who came to visit. Over 1 coat of Essence Ridge filler I applied 2 coats of China glaze Ruby pumps, then drew a diagonal line with Essence Nail art in black and painted it whole black. Afterwards, I stamped it half snowflake image from fauxnad image plate p16 and China glaze Millenium, then I outlined it with Essence Nail art in silver and applied OutTheDoor top coat. She really liked the manicure, and so did I. What about you? Do you like it? Would you wear it yourself?

Thank you dear readers and commenters, have a nice and polished day:*

Gold&red-snowflake-KOTD

I hold the opinion that every woman can have beautiful and well kept hands and nails, therefore I did a simple manicure and konadicure to BF's mother, who works a lot which is evident also from her hands, but still wishes to have nice and polished nails:) I used China glaze Passion and stamped it with snowflake image from fauxnad plate P16 and Konad special nail polish in red. Nothing complicated, but I like it, and so did she:) What about you? What's your opinion of this KOTD?

Thank you dear readers and commenters, have a nice and polished day:*

Go-wild-KOTD

What's a manicure if it has not got a konad over it;) As I did not have a lot of time and because I did the konadicure one day after I did this manicure, you can see some tip wear:( But let's focus on the konadicure; it's made with a part of my latest haul, namely China glaze Millenium, and H23. Though the design was well visible with an eye, it was real hard to take pictures of it, I suppose this is because of the mirror like Millenium. What do you think of KOTD? Yay/nay or something in between;) Thank you dear readers and commenters, have a nice and polished day:*
