2nd upgrade: half moon + konad?!? Could this go?

 Hello, dear readers and followers:)

Today I bring you the 2nd upgrade of the TBN Rasberries&cream (swatched HERE, 1st upgrade HERE). Again, I used the stickers and stamped the black part of the half moon with Konad special nail polish in red. First pictures are taken without the top coat and the stamped image kind of a stands out, but then I added the Seche Topcoat to give extra shine to the whole manicure. I used Konad image plate m71.
I really loved the effect I achieved, how about you? Have you ever tried this combination? What is your opinion on it? Would you  wear it or not?

Thank you, dear readers and followers, have a nice and polished day, and of course WEEKEND:*

Enlarge the pics to see the effect better, it looked more visible in person than in the pictures:)

Red and black=great! First attempt at half moon manicure

 Hello, dear readers and followers:)

As promised, I bring you the first up-grade of the TBN Raspberries&cream (fully swatched HERE). I have never tried the half moon manicure though I had been tempted before:)
I used the paper stickers and China glaze Liquid leather, as well as Seche Vite Fast drying top coat.

What do you think of the result? Would you wear it?

Have you ever tried this type of manicure? What is your opinion on it? Yay or nay?

Thank you, dear readers and followers, have a nice and polished day:*

Say hello to an Aussie beauty:) TBN Raspberries&cream swatch and NOTD

Hello, dear readers and followers:)

Hope you're having a great start into the new week!

Today's post is about another beautiful polish, which I got in my swap with lovely Michelle from Cosmetic cupcake. It's a brand totally new to me, namely the TBN (stands for Totally beautiful nails). The shade is called Raspberries&cream, and it describes it perfectly:) it's though you would crush the raspberries and add some cream to sweeten everything up. Lovely colour, though somehow my camera wasn't able to catch it completely. The drying time is normal also the staying. There are 2 coats in the pictures over 1 coat of Nailtek f.2.

I also played around a bit, so expect to see some nail art, or at least a few up-grades:)

Have you got any experiences with TBN polishes? What do you think of them?

Thank you, dear readers and followers, have a nice and polished day:*

Swap from Down Under with Michelle

Hey, dear readers and followers:)

Having a busy weekend, as I have??

Still not much time to do things I love, as for example polishing etc. My days consist of learning, cleaning, cooking, usual household chores that need to be done, but I'm still enjoying the weekend though my BF is away and has been working form Friday till tomorrow, and I'm home alone.

Here's what I got for you today, a SWAP! YAY! After writing a post on taking up a swap, Michelle or 'chelle from Cosmetic Cupcake responded and we soon arranged a swap, which included nail polish of course:) She sent me the brands that aren't available here in Europe. So I received 3 ulta3 polishes in Sweet violet (shimmery a bit frosty violet as the name implies:), Watermelon (sweet coral cream and a colour new to me, I have to admit I haven't owned any coral polish up till now), Hot spring (rich berry cream); 2 TBN polishes in Aubergine (gorgeous eggplant purple loaded with shimmer) and in Raspberries&cream (another lovely which really looks as though you would have crushed raspberries mixed with some cream); 3 BYS polishes whereas 2 are crack polishes (in black and purple!) and one is in Raspberry sorbet (another pretty, dark shimmery brownish red colour), and last but not least my first Glitter gal polish in Fuchsia (a holographic goodnes in bottle). The package also included 1 stamping fauxnad plate and some fimo sticks which I admired on the internet but never tried them out, thanks a bunch:) I just hope the swatches are coming soon, or at least that I have enough time to polish my nails in those gorgeous colours;)

Michelle also added 1 bottle of her favourite cuticle moisturizer Essie Apricot cuticle oil (gorgeous smell and I've have already tried this one out, it really adds extra moisture to the nails) and a tube of her favourite cream Lucas's papaw treatment which I'm saving up for sea holidays:)

Thank you so much Michelle, it was really so much fun doing a swap with you and I loved every single item you sent me! Please check out her blog, she is also having a giveaway at the moment, so hurry up:)
