A new week ahead and a new updated manicure, too. Over Glitter Gal Fuchsia I used China glaze Harmony and Konad image plate m73. In the end I mattified the whole manicure with China glaze Matte magic (last pic). However, I think I like the glossy one better.

The sun is shining and it's a beautiful day, so let's see some nail polish goodness in the sun right? I received this polish in my swap with Michelle from Cosmetic Cupcakes. The brand is Glitter gal, the shade Fuchsia (gorgeous pinkish holographic polish with a hint of red in it), great coverage, two coats needed, and drying time was splendid, too. There's 1 coat of top coat in the pics.

How are you doing on this lovely day?? Haven't heard from me for a while, right? I just wasn't able to post as often as I would like due to my work at school. Today's manicure I did a while ago, when we had a party at work. I chose to wear a beige sleiveless t-shirt with a brown lace top over it. The motiv on the top kind of a matches my nails:) For the base coat I used 2 coats of Gosh Ginger, love the coverage and the drying time is great too. I have already swatched the polish in one of my previous posts.

Then I used Color club Revvvolution and Konad image plate m65.

How do you like the combination? Do you often match your clothes and nail designs/stamping?

as promised I am posting this look I did for Mardi Gras yesterday. We had a lot of fun at work!:)

I was a mixture of cheetah and leopard, and again the painting was my work, though the pictures aren't quite the best but still, I did my best;)

What was your costume for this festival?

How do you like the face painting? I have to say that this year I've tried it for the first time, up till now I always wore masks instead of painting my face. What do you prefer?

I also did a matching manicure, with Color club Love 'em or leave 'em, then stamped it with leopard and cheetah design from Konad image plate m57 and Konad black, then I filled some spots with China glaze Passion.

Hello, dear readers,

it's time for carnival!:) Do you celebrate it in your country? We do:)

This was my look for the procession which was on Saturday, today I've created another one which I'll show you on another day. The costume and everything else was done at home, and I painted my face, too.

What is your favourite carneval look? Do you like to dress up?

The colours I used are really great, pigmentation is superb as well as the staying power. The last 2 pics were taken after 5-6 hourse and they colours still look pretty untact, though the area around the mounth doesn't look that good as at the beginning.

I used China glaze Nasty, Konad special nail polish in Pastel pink and image plates m57 and m80. Then I sealed everything with Konad top coat.

As I couldn't decide I stamped my nails with some flowers too and Konad special white.

Valentine's mani#3 KOTD with m57&m80

Hello, dear readers and followers,

a quick post for the Valentine's day, and of course a matching manicure for it.

I decided to go with a french but with a twist. First, I stamped the fish net design from Konad image plate m57 and Konad special nail polish in Pastel pink, then I painted the tips with China glaze Nasty and again stamped the french design with hearts from m80 and Konad special nail polish in Pastel pink. At the end I sealed it all with 1 coat of Konad special top coat.

What do you think of the combination? Would you wear it for Valentine's day?

Valentine manicure #2: Gradient and stamping KOTD

Hello, dear readers and followers,

here's another Valentine's manicure, the base is still Ingrid Cosmetics Ice cube in 354 (swatched HERE). Then I took a sponge and applied Konad special nail polish in white to the edges.

For the motiv I used image plate m59 and Konad special nail polish in red. I had to use 2 double stampers, because I had to turn the image around. Finally, I added 1 coat of Konad special top coat to seal everything up.

How do you like the combination? Have you chosen your Valentine's manicure yet?

A new brand to me: Ingrid Cosmetics and NOTD, perfect for Valentine

Hello, dear readers and followers,

today I've got a new brand Ingrid cosmetics which I stumbled across in Tuš drogerije in Maribor. I've heard of it before and when I saw this pretty I just could not stop myself grabbing it:) Can you blame me;)

This polish is a gorgeous red with tinny red and gold glitter-shimmer and it covers greatly with 2 coats, though I think if you have shorter nails one would be just OK:) Somewhat the polish didn't want to be photographed, at least the shimmer/glitter part of it.

What do you think? Have you heard of this brand? Perhaps own something of it?

how about some stamping over OPI Lincoln park after dark SUEDE (fully swatched HERE).

I chose China glaze Devotion and stamping plate H23 with the cherry blossom branch on it. However, the stamped image didn't want to be photographed:D I took enormous amount of photos to get somewhat decent result.

What do you think of the combination? Would you wear it too? I think it would be great also for Valentine's day, right;)

I know it has been just too long from my last post, but the work has taken too much of my spare time. I hat to step in for one of my work collegues who wasn't feeling too well, so when I came back from work, I just had no strenght to do anything, not even polish my nails. Here is one of them, a gorgeous polish I'm sure you all know, namely the OPI Lincoln park after dark SUEDE. There are 2 coats in the pictures, although I think of you're careful one would be just OK. I love the effect, how about you??

2nd upgrade: half moon + konad?!? Could this go?

Hello, dear readers and followers:)

Today I bring you the 2nd upgrade of the TBN Rasberries&cream (swatched HERE, 1st upgrade HERE). Again, I used the stickers and stamped the black part of the half moon with Konad special nail polish in red. First pictures are taken without the top coat and the stamped image kind of a stands out, but then I added the Seche Topcoat to give extra shine to the whole manicure. I used Konad image plate m71.

I really loved the effect I achieved, how about you? Have you ever tried this combination? What is your opinion on it? Would you wear it or not?

Hope you're having a great start into the new week!

Today's post is about another beautiful polish, which I got in my swap with lovely Michelle from Cosmetic cupcake. It's a brand totally new to me, namely the TBN (stands for Totally beautiful nails). The shade is called Raspberries&cream, and it describes it perfectly:) it's though you would crush the raspberries and add some cream to sweeten everything up. Lovely colour, though somehow my camera wasn't able to catch it completely. The drying time is normal also the staying. There are 2 coats in the pictures over 1 coat of Nailtek f.2.

I also played around a bit, so expect to see some nail art, or at least a few up-grades:)

Hello, dear readers and followers,

long time no hear or see from me:( I'm sorry, I really am, but my first year as a teacher really requires a lot of work and effort to be put into, to prepare all the needed material, powerpoints, etc. But enough about the work, let's get to the fun part, right;)

I while ago I was contacted by super friendly Jessica from the Born pretty store. A web site which carries various beauty and nail art products. I was given the option to choose among their products, and I chose the package of 100 fimo canes (which also included 2 spare rhinestone cases, a glue, as well as a great cutter for fimo canes (they're 10 in the package, so I suppose it really last long), love how you thin you can cut the canes!) and 3 x Nail Art Rhinestone Nail Art Lot Dotting pen W Glue (it comprises a set of dotting tools with 3 wheels of rhinestones in the shape of hearts, stars and the regular -circle ones, as well as 4 nail glues. I also got a bunch of orangewood sticks, And also a piece of paper with transparent foil over it, there're some white spots on it, I don't know what it's for, but I suppose they're water decals, hmmm, have to figure it out:) The service is great, the package is delivered from Hong Kong, and it took it about 14 days to get to Slovenia.

This package is the biggest nail art supply I've ever got, can't wait to try everything out!

Two brands I got in the package I already knew, though only from the internet, but know I've got them both, Andreia and Risque. The other brands are completely new to me: Cliche, Carlos Santos and Dote.

Hello, lovelies!

Hope you're doing just great! We finally got some snow round here, and it looks so cool, though the streets aren't that great:S

I also went skiing with my BF to Austria during the weekend, we stayed in Bad Kleinkirchheim and enjoyed skiining in Turracher Höhe. I'll post some pictures later, when I transfer them from the phone. The weather was beautiful and I still remember how to ski; this has been my third season since the beginning of my learning process.

In the meantime I got a new storage place for my nail polishes, they were getting so many so I needed a new home for them. I bought a red metall container in Mömax (Austria) which I placed in our living room.

The total number of all polishes is 174, not so high right;)

I've recently found out that my blog has reached more than 700 followers. WOW! As I haven't got a lot of time these days due to my work occupations, I would like to take the opportunity and tell you that this blog wouldn't be the same without YOU, my dearest readers and followers, who kindly comment on the posts making me feel welcome and heard as well as seen:) Thank you again and I appreciate every comment you write and respond to each one of them. Through this blog I've known many different people from all over the globe, made swaps, ...

I'm very grateful for all your nice words and for being so supportive. Love you all!:)

As I said in one of my previous posts, I'm planning on doing a big giveaway, again there will be one prize sponsored by Kathleen from OC NAIL ART, even bigger than in my previous giveaway, YAY! How are you doing?

Hope you're having a great weekend on this sunny and autumn day!

Today I've got for you the famous Sally Hansen Opulent cloud which I got in my swap with Elizabeth from Lacquered Lizard.

What to say about this colour that hasn't been already said:) I love it, love the brush and the application, what I don't love is that it is so too sheer. There are 4 coats in the pictures! But it dries pretty fast and the final result is still worth it.

The colour is an slight duochrome or perhaps triochrome:), it changes from grey, gold to lavender purple. mesmerizing!

What do you think of the colour? Do you own it perhaps? Or any other similar colours?

It's Wednesday already, the days seem to rush when I'm at work, and the spare time is being reduced to minumum. But I like it so far;)

The polish I have for you today is China glaze Rich&Famous, a bright pink cream which was somehow difficult to photograph. The pictures taken with flash and indoors are quite colour accurate. It a great summer polish and if you want the feeling of the summer to return, try it;) There are 2 coats in the pictures, over 1 coat of Nailtek f.2 and one coat of INM OutTheDoor topcoat. Though the colour is pretty much glossy on it self.

I did a water marbling over Zoya Lana (fully swatched HERE) with Jade 315 and China glaze Passion, and I did it only over 2 nails on each hand, just to add something extra to my manicure.

Another post from the vault, this time with another gorgeous polish I got in the swap with Maria from R3Daily. It's Zoya Lana from the Reverie collection.

I'm sure you've seen it somewhere on the blog sphere. It's reddish orange coloured polish with great duochrome shimmer that changes colour from gold to green. Hope the pictures show it well, this pretty was a bit difficult to photograph.

There are 3 coats in the pictures, except in the first 2, where there are only 2 coats. You can get away just with 2, but I added another one to achieve more depth. There's also 1 coat of INM OuttheDoor top coat over it.

Do you own any polishes from the Reverie collection? What do you think of them?

Summer memories and summer pedicure with Ulta3 Hot spring

How are you doing on this rainy and gloomy day?? Here in Slovenia the level of water has risen a lot, and there is high flood risk. I just hope everything will be ok and pray for those who live near streams and rivers.

So on this lausy day I've been looking at the pictures of the sea vacation and found this summer pedicure I wore at that time. It is such a nice and summery colour. I used Ulta3 Hot spring (a rich berry fuchsia cream) which I got in the swap with Michelle from Cosmetic and cupcake. It took only one coat to reach the full opacity which is great, especially for a pedicure:) then I added 1 coat of OPI RapiDry.

Chameleon: Alessandro 261 swatch and NOTD

The manicure I have for you today is a true chameleon, it switches colours from green, blue to purple, depending on the light and angle. I wasn't able to capture its beauty perfectly, but still here are the shots. The pretty's name is Alessandro 261 and it was apart of their Vamp collection, released in 2009. There are 2 coats in the pictures with 1 coat of INM OutTheDoor top coat over it.

are you having such a bad weather as I? Rain and nothing but rain, want summer back and sun:)

So today I'm showing you a konadicure I did while being in Mali Lošinj, and it reminds me of great time spent there. The polish used is China glaze Aztec orange, full swatched HERE.

First I used Konad special nail polish in black and konad image plate m57, then I added butterflies with m78 and Color club Worth the risque. In the end I also applied one coat of INM OutTheDoor fast drying top coat.

I've got a full time job at school, so I'm super duper busy at the moment, it might take a while to get used to everything, to get all the things done.

The posts that come will consist of swatches I did in the last months but haven't published them yetand the number of post will be slightly reduced, I hope you understand. This job came all of a sudden, I never thought it would come so soon.

Here's one of them - China glaze Aztec orange which isn't really that orange-like but it's more of a brigth red colour, almost a neon. There are 2 coats in the pictures without a top coat.

Ruffian manicure with Sonia Kashuk Smoke and Mirrors - pics overload

Dear readers and followers,

how are you today? Are you also having such a lousy weather as we do here in Slovenia? It's supposed to be summer, but hey this looks like autumn or spring. Want some sunshine back!

On to the manicure:) What to do with a silver foil polish (fully swatched HERE) if not use it as a base for ruffian manicure. So I took China glaze Liquid leather and applied 1 coat over yesterday's NOTD. As you can see in the pics, Liquid leather is super glossy on itself, there isn't any top coat over it. Though the coverage isn't that good, you get full opacity with 2 coats, although there's only 1 in the pictures.

How do you like this manicure? Are you a fan of Ruffian? Have you got any favourite colour combinations? I would love to hear/ read them!

Claire's Mood polish Calm/Wild swatch - pics heavy

Hello, dear readers and followers,

the long awaited swatches of first Claire's Mood polishes - Calm/Wild- are finally here. I got this beauty in my swap with Elizabeth from Lacquered lizard, Maria from R3 Daily, and Alisa from Polish Fiend.

There are 2 coats in the pictures over 1 coat of top coat the polish dries rather matte, so a top coat is good to be applied. Please do excuse so many pictures, I just could not resist taking so many, the polish is super fun to watch and play with :P I played around with my artificial light to get the polish warm, except in the last picture where my hands were warm after having a bath.

As I've seen on the web Claire's have released a new line of mood polishes, have you seen it already?

Canadian swap with Polish Fiend

how are you on this sunny day? :)

I finally got my package from Canada which I was eagerly waiting for. This post will be on the swap with lovely Alisa from Polish Fiend. She sent me lots of nail polishes, all the brands I got were new to me, not one of them was already included in my stash, besides the Mood polishes.

The package consisted of 2 Claire's mood polishes in Calm and Wild, and in Peaceful and Confident, and a pack of 6 mini nail polishes from Claire's cosmetics. Then there were also 3 nail polishes from Joe Fresh in Tomato (bright red with a hint of orange), in Coral (pastel coral shade) and in Figue (dusty mauve). She also packed 2 great eyeshadows for me, one was again from Joe Fresh (gorgeous purple) and the other was from Annabelle (indigo - great), and a cheek tint by Joe Fresh. Two sheets of 3D nail stickers were also in it and a manicure kit, and not to forget a lovely note at the end:)

I love all the colours Alisa picked for me, and can't wait to try them out! This was such a fun and great swap, thanks a lot Alisa:*

There is no topcoat in the pics.The pictures are taken outdoors in the sun, the last two were taken while standing in the sea:) The flakies reflected the water and the sun perfectly <3

For today's post I chose my summer pedicure I wore when beeing at the sea side in Croatia. I got this polish in my swap with Elizabeth from Lacquered Lizard, and it's my very first Diamond cosmetics nail polish, Hurray! The shade is I think very well known, namely Cherry tobacco, gorgeous dark brownish red colour with red shimmer. There are 2 coats in the pictures and 1 coat of INM OutTheDoors topcoat.

Here's another Zoya nail polish I got in my international swap with Elizabeth from Lacquered Lizard - Zoya Harlow - matte purple red gorgeousness in a bottle.There are 2 coats in the pictures, all over 1 coat of Nailtek f.2. The application was good, no problems - although you have to be fairy quick when you apply this baby, it dries really fast.

What's more to say than I love it! I'll try it with a top coat for sure :)

Covergirl LashBlast mascara review

hope you're having a great day!

No nails today, but some pics of me wearing Covergirl LashBlast mascara which I got in my swap with Maria from R3 Daily. I've read some many reviews about this mascara I just couldn't wait to try it on and was super happy when I received it in Maria's package.

I'm sure you're seen many reviews too, how about another quick one ;) This piece of beauty is simply AMAZING! I can say it the best mascara I've come across with. There are 2 coats of it in the pics and no clumping or whatsoever. Just pure volume and length, that's all I need in my mascara :)

What's your favourite mascara of all time? Which ones would you like to try?

FRIDAY! YAY:)

Today I've got for you the manicure I wore when I was at the sea side during my vacation. The colour I chose was Ulta3 in Watermelon, lovely coral cream colour which I got in my swap with 'chelle from Cosmetic Cupcake. There are 2 coats in the pictures and no top coat. I had no application troubles. The polish dried fairly quickly. This is my very first nail polish in coral, I did not own any before:)

As for the name, I just had to take some photos with fresh and juicy watermelon in my hands, delicious :P

Finally Friday:P

First I would like to say that this manicure looked much better IRL, the different effects were better visible but the camera just could capture it. Please so enlarge the pics to see the ruffian manicure more precisely;) This was my first attempt at it, so please don't be harsh on me;)

The base for this manicure was yesterday's NOTD with Zoya Savita. For the glossy part I used 1 coat of INM OutTheDoor top coat, and the lines were painted with free hand, no stencils or alike.

Zoya Savita swatch and NOTD

One day till weekend, hurray for that! ;)

I've got another Zoya polish for you, it's the beloved Savita which I also got in my swap with Elisabeth from Lacquered lizard. The polish is just amazing, such velvet effect and gorgeous colour (purple with fine pink shimmer), I could not stop starring at my nails when I had it on, simply stunning. The drying time is super fast and you have to work really quickly when applying it and be carefull not to go over one area more than once. Loved the brush again :) The polish was applied over one coat of Nailtek foundation 2, my favourite base coat.

What are your thoughts on this polish? Love it as much as I do? Have it perhaps?

a quick post today :) as I'm back to work again. Over yesterday's NOTD with Zoya Isla I applied 1 coat of Sally Hansen Hidden treasure of which I'm sure you've heard and seen a lot:) I got it in my swap with Elisabeth from Lacquered lizard and one in my swap with Maria from R3Daily.

The effect is simply mesmerizing, I could stop starring at my nails while I was having it on. Love, love, love it!

On to today's NOTD. I got this gorgeous polish in my swap with Elisabeth from Lacquered Lizard. It gorgeous shimmery red, the finish sometimes looks as it were metallic though it's not really. It's a 2-coater and it applied perfectly and it dried also pretty fast. I had no troubles applying it, the pics you see aren't pre-cleaned.

This is my very first Zoya nail polish I've tried and I have to say I'm so pleased with the formula and the brush! Great!

Just a quick post telling you that my holidays have finished and that I'm going back to posting as usual. As for the exam I had the day I went to holidays, I passed it in no time :D Wow, I felt so great because I really had some tough time during the learning process, thank you all for you kind wishes and encouragements! Expect new post coming soon:) Tomorrow is still a day off for me, but on Monday I'm back to work and blogging world.

Hello, dear readers and followers:)

I haven't forgotten you, hope you haven't forgotten me either;) As you're reading this I'm on my way to take my final exam, the biggest of them all, so keep your fingers crossed for me *hug* After the exam I'm headed right to the seaside to take my long desired vacation, hurray! I'll be back in forthnight with lots of new pictures and manicures, and of course konadicures;)

SO here's the manicure I did for the exam, I did not want to go for bold and vivid colours, so what else to choose than a classic french manicure:) I used over 1 coat of Nailtek f.2 1 coat of Petites color in Fairy pink (a lovely sheer holographic pink shade) which I got in the swap with Elizabeth from Lacquered lizard! After that I used the french pattern on konad im m19 and konad special nail polish in white, then I added another coat of Fairy pink and sealed everything with one coat of INM OutTheDoor topcoat.

A quick post today:) as you know I'm a bit short on time, still a lot of learning, making notes, etc. So no long words, but more pictures instead.

I got my Bundle monster image plates few days ago and I just had to try them out. I decided to go for the kiss image from BM02 and used Konad special nail polish in white to stamp with. For the base I used BarryM nail polish in Rasberry, fully swatched and reviewed HERE.

What do you think of the combination? Like it or not?

My very first BarryM nail polish in Rasberry

Not so long ago I got an email from the web shop named Ličila.si in which they offered to send me BarryM nail polish for review. Of course I was interested, even more because I did not own any nail polish from this brand. BarryM was not available in Slovenia for a long time and Ličila.si is the only shop that sells this brand.

The colour I got is 273 Rasberry. Lovely and classic colour which looks great with any clothes you wear. The bottle holds 10ml of nail polish and it costs 4,45€. It is of jelly consistency and the best part is that it is fully coverable in 1 a bit thicker coat. In the pictures you see 1 coat of BarryM Rasperry over 1 coat of Poshe basecoat, there is also no topcoat in the pictures, as the polish is really glossy on itself. The brush is great too, easy to handle and to apply the polish, drying time is normal too, I did not do any cleanup after the polishing and I am extremely satisfied with that:)

Pred kratkim sem prejela prijazen email iz spletne trgovine Ličila.si, v katerem so mi ponudili, da mi pošljejo lak BarryM znamke in da ga preizkusim. Seveda sem bila zelo vesela ponudbe, saj v moji zbirke še nimam nobenega lakca te znamke. Te znamke namreč dolgo ni bilo mogoče dobiti pri nas v Sloveniji, sedaj pa je na voljo samo v spletni trgovini Ličila.si.

Barva, ki sem jo prejela, je 273 Rasberry (Malina) in tudi lepo opiše barvo, ki je res ''malinasta'', polna rdeča barva, z visokim sijajem tudi brez nadlaka. Sam lak je jelly konsistence in krasno prekriva tudi s samo enim malce debelejšim slojem, kar je super! S čopičem sem bila zelo zadovoljna, lak lahko namreč naneseš zelo natančno in tudi kasnejše čiščenje ni bilo potrebno. Torej sem samo nalakirala in poslikala:) Slike so bile narejene na različnih osvetlitvah in z bliskavico oz. brez nje. Na slikah je 1 plast laka preko 1 plasti Poshe podlaka. Lak se posuši v normalnem času. Steklenička vsebuje 10ml laka in stane 4,45€.

Torej, kaj mislite o barvi? Že imate kakšen BarryM lak ali pa ga nameravate kupiti?

Just a quick and short post to tell you I'm still here, but deeply stuck into learning:)

First of all, I would like to thank you, my dear followers and readers for sticking with me, giving all your nice comments and encouraging me to polish my nails even more often :P (though at this time I'm a bit out of practice due to learning). KONADomania blog has reached 601 followers thanks to YOU! A giveaway is being prepared, and I'll probably anounce it when I finish my studies and come back from summer vacation as a sign of my gratitude and love for you:)

In the passed days I also received 2 packages from two lovely ladies, Elizabeth and Maria. You, girls ROCK and A BIG THANK YOU! I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the packages, wow, full of nail polishes and brands I only have heard of before, but now I even own them, YAY! My first Zoyas, Claire Mood polishes, Cover girl lash blast, Sally Hansen, American Apparel, and two brands completely new to me, Petites and Sonia Kashuk.

I'll add the descriptions of the polishes later, pictures should suffice for now:)

Completely matte Zulu and let's french it up

I showed you Essence Zulu yesterday and a comparison with China glaze Matte magic on 2 nails, but today I've mattified the whole manicure. As I just couldn't stop at this stage I had to add some glossy top coat to the tips to create a french look, the top coat used is INM OutTheDoor.

I really like the end result, how about you?

First Essence matte polish in Zulu - matte, satin or what?

Hey, dear readers and followers:)

I'm sure you've seen this pretty already, right? This will be a rather short post, so let the pics speak for themselves;)

There are 2 coats in the pictures, and as the bottle says it'a a matte polish, but as you can see it's rather satin like than real matte effect. I also did a comparison with China glaze Matte magic to give the real matte finish.

What do you think of the colour and finish?
